From Farm Waste to Clean Energy: Nong Bua Renewable Plant Inauguration

Witness the opening of Güssing Renewable Energy’s Nong Bua plant in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand—our showcase Dual Fluidized Bed (DFB) gasification facility turning local agricultural and forest residues into clean power. After beginning supply to the grid in November 2018, the site was officially inaugurated in January 2019. The plant demonstrates Austrian-developed DFB technology from TU Vienna and is designed to power roughly 3,000 homes while creating local jobs and new value chains for farmers.
